St. Catharines Museum

The St. Catharines Museum, at the Lock 3 Complex on the Welland Canal, housed the original St. Catharines Sports Hall of Fame display which showcased memorabilia, and the original Mayor’s Proclamation, showing the first group of inductees.

The new Sports Hall of Fame located at the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines offers over 1000 sq ft of display space and displays objects from the Museum’s collection related to our community’s sports history. The innaugural exhibit in the sports hall of fame relates to the city’s hockey history and features some our city’s hockey greats who have been inducted into the David S. Howes Sports Wall of Fame.
