Bill Frick was involved in a number of sports including, Baseball, Hockey, and Lacrosse.  Bill was a Second Baseman in the minor and junior baseball league, as well as playing forward for the minor, Jr. B, and Jr. A Hockey League.  In addition, Frick also played Hockey in Scotland during the winter of 1948/49.  A player of Lacrosse, Frick was a forward during the 1944 Mann Cup, 1945 Ontario Championship teams, 1946 Mann Cup, and the 1947 Minto Cup.  Following Bill Frick’s playing career within these three sports, he then went on to contribute his time to assisting with these sports.  For hockey Frick was a referee and linesman for Intermediate, Jr. B, and Jr. A Leagues.  In addition Bill was the Coach and Manager of the Branch 24 Legion Hockey for 30 years, held the President, Secretary, and Convener positions simultaneously during the 1980’s and coached the Lions Midget Hockey team.  Bill was also the Vice President of the St. Catharines Minor Hockey, and the Area Supervisor of the Ontario Hockey Association.  For the sport of Lacrosse, Bill also contributed his time to refereeing hundreds of Lacrosse league games, 5 Mann Cup Finals, 5 Minto Cup Finals, and the First Canada games series in Halifax, N.S.  Bill was the Secretary of the St. Catharines Old Boy Lacrosse Association for ten years, as well as the interim Treasurer.
