BIOGRAPHY

Bill Whitaker played Field Lacrosse for the Nets in 1930 and box lacrosse in 1932.  He played with the St. Catharines Athletics Ontario Sr. Champs for 7 years!  Whitaker was a 5 time Mann Cup Champion and was the 1st goalie to score in Niagara Finals.  He never wore shinpads or a mask and received League Dispensation not to wear a mask.  He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1967.
