BIOGRAPHY

Brian Bellows played in Minor Hockey in St. Catharines and scored 100 goals in each of 3 seasons. As he moved on to Junior B hockey, he was MVP for the season. He later played Junior A for the Kitchener Rangers Memorial Cup and was Captain of the team in 1981 . In 1982, at the age of 18 he was first draft pick of Minnesota North Stars. After 11 years with the North Stars, he lead them with 342 goals, 134 power play goals, points streaks (20 games), 30 goal seasons (seven) 60+ points a season and second in total points (722). He played with the Montreal Canadians and played 1 year in Europe. Lastly, he played with Washington Capitals leading them to Stanley Cup Finals.
