Born and raised in St. Catharines, Clint Page joined the St. Catharines Rowing Club in 1940 and rowed with the club in 1942. Never a competitive rower, Page made his mark in rowing as an official and a fundraiser. Page officiated at regattas for more than 15 years before becoming Chief Registrar on the course in 1963 a role which he served in until his retirement in 2000. As a fundraiser for the St. Catharines Rowing Club and the Canadian Henley Rowing Corporation, Page started out with his wife Jean selling hotdogs in front of the Henley Grandstand before moving on to arts and crafts shows and then bingos. Through his efforts, Page raised in excess of $1 million dollars. Page was also involved with the Henley Island Helpers and organized the Clint Page Classic Regatta.
