BIOGRAPHY

  • Played Football and Basketball Merritton High School with Coach Angie Pastore.
  • University of Western Ontario Bus. Admin. Graduate and a Hall of Fame Basketball and Football player.
  • Picked Montreal Allouettes C.F.L. over N.F.L. N.Y. Giants in first draft of Canadian University players as an outstanding prospect.
  • As a 6 ft. 4in. Defensive end he helped the Allouettes to three Grey Cup finals which they lost.
  • 1953-1959 he was an Eastern Conference all star six times.
  • He played in the East West Shrine Game.
  • He was twice named to the Ted Reeves all Canada Team.
