Harry Edmonstone was born in 1928, and attended St. Catharines Collegiate for high school. After high school Harry then pursued a degree from York University, from their school of law, the Osgoode School of Law, graduating from this school in 1953. Following graduation harry then joined the law firm of Bench, Keogh, Rogers Grass. In 1968 Harry Edmonstone was awarded to be part of the Queen’s Counsel, a highly esteemed position.
In 1977 Harry became the president of the Lincoln Law Association, and in 1978 he sat on the Provincial Court Bench “Criminal Division”. Over the years Harry was also very involved in sports and an active contributor to the community. A past president of the Rotary Club, and president of the Rowing Club, Harry was also the secretary of the Canadian Association Amateur Oarsmen. In addition Harry was active in assisting the Grantham Y.M.C.A. as well as the Holy Name Society and the St.Catharines JayCees.
