BIOGRAPHY

Jim Lomore was the president of a number of clubs, including the St. Cathairnes Athletics from 1953-1957, the Welland Switsons 1958-1959, and the St. Catharines Athletics again from 1960-1964. Founder and Treasurer of Port Dalhousie Lakesides from 1967-1970, and the continued treasurer from 1970-1980. Treasurer also of the Old Tyme Sports Association for twenty years, and secretary manager of the St. Catharines Club for twenty three years, in addition to managing Queensway & Welland House hotels, Jim donated a great deal of time to assisting where he was able to. For Jim’s continued contributions he was put in the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1981, and was made an Honourary Member of the Old Boys Lacrosse Association.
