Kenneth George Croft was a Juvenile Hockey St. Catharines Lions Southern Ontario Champion in 1944. In 1945 he was then a Junior A Hockey Port Colborne Sailor, and from 1946-1951 he played for the St. Catharines Industrial Hockey team, for Lightning Fastener—General Motors. 1952-54 played with the Thorold Intermediate Hockey team, and then 1955-59 played for the Welland Senior B Hockey team. Also involved in Lacrosse, Croft started Lacrosse in 1945-46 when he attended the Canadian Army Lacrosse Camp Borden. Playing for the St. Catharines Junior Athletic Lacrosse, and then the Quebec City Senior Lacrosse in 1947, as well as Senior Lacrosse from 1952-53 for Orillia & Toronto West York. It wasn’t until 1982 that Croft commenced playing competitive tennis.
