BIOGRAPHY

Peter Berge started out playing baseball with the Ontario Midget Softball Finalist in 1954. A year later in 1955 he won the St. Catharines Softball Association M.V.P. Award. His hockey career began in 1954 where he played for the Ontario Bantam A Champions and a year later in 1955 with the Ontario Midget A Champions. Berge is known for being a Scoring Champion, runner up for M.V.P and Champion Captain for the Jr. B Niagara District (1958-59).He also is a Jr. A Memorial Cup Champion (1959-60). Lacrosse began in 1954– 1956 for Peter who played Bantam A, Midget A and Juvenile A and was champions with all of them. In 1960 he was a Minto Cup Finalist (Whitby). In 1961 he won the was apart of the Minto Cup Champions (Hatings). In 1961, Berge was OLA Jr. A Third Place M.V.P Balloting, and Sr. A Mann Cup Finalist in 1963. In 2007 Peter Berge was inducted into the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
