BIOGRAPHY

Roy “Pung” Morton, was the scoring champion for the St. Catharines Athletics inclusive. He played for the Ontario Lacrosse Champions in 1938-1941 and 1944-1946. Pung was also a player on the Mann Cup Championship team, 5 times!  In one Mann Cup game, he scored an incredible 9 goals!  Later in life he played football, as a quarterback with St. Catharines Collegiate & O.R.F.U. Football teams.  He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1968.
