Walter was in the first committee meeting at Branch 24 of the Canadian Legion, in the meeting to restore Jr. “B” Hockey in St. Catharines. From this meeting, not only was Jr. “B” Hockey restored, but Walter was appointed the Director in 1968. In 1969 he was elected as the first Vice President of the Jr. “B” Falcons, and then from 1970-1994 was the President of the Jr. “B” Falcons. Retiring from being President in 1994, after serving 26 consecutive years. When Walter retired he was the last of the Founding Executive team to retire. During his tenure, the Falcons won one Niagara District Championship, and eleven Golden Horseshoe Championships. Seldom to miss any type of practice session, home or away game, Walter was one of the leading members in restoring and running Jr. “B” Hockey in St. Catharines. Walter Marsh passed away on October 1, 2011.
